The Antiquarian Bookshop Baduel was founded in 1997 by Mario Tedeschini and it is located in the center of Orvieto. It has a collection of old and rare books, manuscripts, first editions, prints, maps, views, photography, out of print book and  modern first editions. Particular attention is paid to the legal and economic sciences with the publication of periodic catalogues. We carry out appraisals and evaluations. We are always keen to purchase  books, libraries, manuscripts and archives.

Opening Hours

The library observes the following schedule:
Winter 09.30/13.00 - 16.30/19.00. Closed Mondays.
Summer 09.30/13.00 - 17.00/19.30. Closed Saturdays.
It is advisable to call in advance.

Appraisals and catalogues:

Mario Tedeschini is a member of the Chamber of Surveyors and Experts No 90 and is a registered member of Consultant Technicians at the Court of Orvieto. He is qualified to issue expert opinions on the originality and value of books, prints, manuscripts, drawings, bibliographies and catalogues. Information on conditions and fees will be provided on request.

Mail order

The books and prints are in good condition and complete, unless otherwise indicated. Shipments are made by post or courier on delivery when the payment has been received, unless otherwise agreed. The postage and packing are charged to the customer. The goods are shipped at the customer's own risk. The lack of some of the works does not entitle the rejection of the remaining frames. After 15 days (30 days for foreign customers) do not accept the dispatch of the goods claims. Those who wish to advance invoice, please indicate your account number
Match tax or VAT. Any dispute will be referred to the Court of Orvieto. We ship worldwide.
